This weekend was a good one.Me and my oldest son Darrell delivered a load of wood we had cut up to the lake Saturday morning.Afterwards we ran by Winn Dixie and let me tell you they had one heck of a sale outside the store on some gift items..
I got some pre lit candy canes to put on walkway for 2 bucks!A blender for 1.00,a food chopper for 1.00,and they had lots of odd and end toys,stocking stuffers for 4/1.00! So i wound up getting like 4 bags for 20.00,this included 3 giant rolls of wrapping paper..I was happy....
By the time we returned the Grandson's had returned and Julie was watching them.Had to keep the goodies stashed till after dark and sneek them in.lol..
This morning we got up and loaded in the truck and went christmas tree hunting.Lot's of cedars up and down the road here so we always do that for christmas.I love the smell of a fresh tree and nothing better for xmas memories than tree hunting with the kids.We found the ''perfect tree'' in about an hour i guess..It was so warm today me,the boys billy and kolby and zack rode in the back of the back of the truck with short sleeves!Very strange.Then afternoon we went by my mom's for a while and my brother robert took the boys on a boat ride on the pond.They really liked that.She say's by next year the fish should be big enough to safely begin fishing..That would be fun..
I hope each of you have had a relaxed weekend and ready to face next week.Maybe a blessed wekkend for us all...
